A
few words about Environment:
"We are processing the wood where it grows." This
sentence is for us an important expression for our contribution
to environmental protection. By the installation of large - scale
lumber mills it is partly normal procedure to transport round timber,
weak wood, and stem parts through several counties, and this will
return as sawn timber to its place of origin. Notice is rarely taken
of the ensuing traffic strain and the waste of energy. For us it
is the most natural thing - since generations - aided by our lumber
mill's location to manufacture "resource - protective" and thus
in harmony with the environment. Even for residues that may not
be further refined, we have our uses. Those are used for CO2 -
neutral heating of our drying ovens.
